Why Age Verification Is Required
At iHeartCigars, we are committed to complying with all federal and state laws regarding the sale of tobacco products. It is illegal to sell cigars and other tobacco products to anyone under the age of 21. To ensure we meet these legal obligations and help prevent underage access, we require age verification on all purchases.
How Age Verification Works
We work with Age Checker, a trusted third-party age verification service, to confirm that our customers are 21 years of age or older. This service uses a secure and encrypted system to validate your age using information you provide during checkout.
In most cases, verification happens instantly. If additional information is needed to complete age verification, a pop up will appear after checkout and ask you to "Complete age verification". Once age verification has been completed you will be notified via the pop up or by email, and your order will be moved onto fulfilment.
What If I'm Already Verified?
Once your age has been successfully verified, you will not need to verify again for future purchases made with the same account and billing information. However, if you update your personal details or create a new account, you may be asked to go through the process again.
Is My Information Secure?
Yes. Age Checker is fully compliant with data protection standards and uses industry-standard encryption to keep your personal information secure. iHeartCigars does not store any sensitive data used for age verification.

What happens if I cannot be verified by the age verification process?
On occasion, some shoppers may not be able to be verified due to the limited availability of publicly available information contained within the age verification databases. If that is the case, you may request “manual verification” by responding to our e-mail and following the directions to upload your proof of age which will require a copy of either your driver’s license or some other form of government issued identification. You may also contact our customer service office by e-mail and phone to provide this information. If you are contacting us by e-mail or phone, we will require a copy of your driver’s license or the other form of government issued identification that verifies your identity, including your date of birth. Once we receive your information, your order will be shipped. All the information that you provided to us is confidential and, once verified will not be requested again.
I live outside of the United States, can I be verified?
Verification is based solely on U.S. record information and therefore verification of individuals residing outside the U.S. is unavailable. (Military Addresses outside of the US are acceptable). Individuals in all other countries will be subject to our manual review process described in the previous section.
